Hi, there...
My last post is about Chess, but now let's get to know more about Scrabble. Why do I title my post that way? it's because, of course, scrabble is all about, thinking of best words, spell it right and form it correctly on the board. Scrabble from the word itself, I can give that it's best synonyms word is criss cross, because you can form words diagonally, vertically, horizontally, downward or upward, parallel, perpendicular and adjacent as long as you spelled it correctly. This another strategic and hard thinking board game suits for the people who are interested in discovering new words but it is also better for the people who are interested in making words perfectly.
The best word that I can describe Scrabble is challenging, because when you play this game, your mind was forced to think the best word that you can give to defeat your opponents. I say opponents because you don't have only one opponent but two or more.
Scrabble board is usually made up of wood and the squares tile wood with letters on it are usually made also with wood or even plastic. The racks or what we called tile holder are also made up of wood. You will notice that there are squared tiles that have color: Each tiled color have corresponding score on it.
The blue squared gives a double letter scores. The green colors give triple letter scores. The red ones can give a double word score and orange squares gives a triple word score. It means, that when you always put your letter under the corresponding tile colored, it will give you a score or at least a best or high score.
According to one of the rules in playing scrabble, all words that you put on the board must be on the dictionary, so when you put a word that not in a dictionary it's not counted.
During the turn of each players, they must have a seven letters on their rack, on these seven letters they will get a particular word that they will put on the board. On the rule before the player turns they have three options. First pass, forfeiting the turn, for best understanding for forfeit it means lose or penalty, and scoring nothing. Then, exchanging one or more tile from the equal number from the bags and you scored nothing, this option is available if there is only seven letters on the bag, lastly, play at least one tile on the board.
Actually, I don't perfectly know how to explain these three options but I can apply them when I'm playing scrabble. Sorry if I can't give you a full and more explainable details about scrabble because me also don't have enough time to play this game. One tip that I can give, practice and review for more words so that you always win in this challenging game. In this generation, scrabble now were not always played by many people because they would prefer to play online games, I don't say that online games are not good but scrabble are much better. If you don't want to play it on the board then play it online because on this modern world all games that can be played practically were can be played also by online.
When I say all about board game, scrabble i one of my favorite.
So, let's just play this game and be challenged. I can be sure that this will be interesting and great..:)

The Chess Game
As I said, let's talk about board but not in a bored way. Board talk by means of all about board game. Actually, i don't have enough knowledge about this type of game, so why i choose this game? my answer, is of course I want to know more about board games, the rules, the strategies and for me, if a person want to challenge his/her own thinking and strategic skills, try to play a board game.
As I mentioned above, I want to know more about this game. And, one of the most popular or should I say best board game that I played so far is the CHESS GAME. I know on myself that I don't have a good strategic thinking but I always practice this game and as time goes by, I can say that I can handle this game not perfectly but proudly. And to know more about this game,I'll try to give some information about chess. Let's start.
Chess, a strategy board game played on a chessboard. I know that all of us are familiar on a chessboard, it consists of 32 black squared tiles and 32 white squared tiles. It has a total of 64 tiles in eight by eight position and place alternately. Chess is said to believed originated in eastern india on 6th century. So, if we think deeply, chess have been played more than a hundred or thousand years,so it's never been shocked if the chess game have been popular for years.
THE CHARACTERS AND THEIR MOVES:
1.Pawn- the first eight in front are the pawns. Their moves are just vertical but can be adjacent to the space in front of them. Pawns cannot move backwards, at first they can be move along two tiles and after that just a single move only.
2. Rook- it looks like tower of a castle, it can be move horizontally, vertically but not diagonally. When castling has been made, it moved together with the king.
3. Knight/Horse- it has an L move, simply, it moves to square horizontally and one square vertically.
4. Bishop- it moves diagonally in any direction but it is according to the color of the square on where it stands.
5. The Queen- on my opinion, i think the queen is the second powerful piece on a chess game, because it can be move vertically, diagonally, and horizontally.
6. The King- this piece is the most protected on a chess game why? because once the king is dead the game will be over. The king can be moved like the queen but just one square only unlike the queen that can be moved with a long direction.
THE GAME:
As the game started, player move the pawn but not always because some players try to move the knight. On what we called pawn promotion, it goes like this, as pawn moved from the opponents direction and once it reached the last line of the square tiles of the game it can be promoted to any highest ranking like queen, rook, bishop or knight. As the game flow, each player must click on the desired timer after their turns. CHECK - this word is for the king because once a king is in check it is under attack by one or more enemy pieces. The player must remove his king to any direction and cannot be moved any piece until the king is check.
CHECKMATE- once a king has no escape, it is checkmate so it means the game is over because there is no possible move for the kings to b moved away from the opponent.
The information above are just my few knowledge about chess, I'm not a professional chess player but I know a little basic strategies about playing this board game. I guess I needed a long time to learn more about chess to achieve a perfect move that will easily checkmate my opponent. I hope that I'd help you in a little way by sharing some of my opinions about chess. Thank you!!
